This Position reports to:
Low Code Platform Manager
We are seeking a Power Platform Solution Architect with a strong background in developing business applications using Power Platform and other Microsoft technologies (such as SharePoint and Azure). You will join our global IS organization within the Industry Automation Business Area.
As a Power Platform Solution Architect, you will play a key role in evaluating new business demands, determining the appropriate technology stream - primarily focusing on Power Platform - and establishing design and implementation standards. Our mission is to standardize the IS landscape through low-code automation while delivering effective IS solutions that support business growth.
Key responsibilities:Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze requirements and assess suitability for Power Platform solutions or redirect to alternative technologies when appropriate.
Solution Architecture
Design scalable and maintainable Power Platform architectures and define development standards.
Development Oversight
Work closely with development teams to verify architectural alignment and conduct quality assessments.
Performance Optimization
Ensure solutions are designed for optimal performance, reliability, and reusability. Conduct code reviews to maintain high standards.
Custom Development & Automation
Build custom solutions and automate business processes using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and Copilot.
Technology Leadership
Act as a subject matter expert and stay up to date with the latest Power Platform updates and best practices.
To succeed in this role, you bring a solid architectural understanding of developing solutions on the Power Platform. Experience with SharePoint and Azure will be a strong advantage.
Ideally, you have:
A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Power Platform and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations.
At least 5 years of experience in software development or working with cloud, hybrid, or on-premises infrastructures, architecture design, and technology management.
You should be proficient in building Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, and SharePoint solutions. Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps and Git is essential. Strong skills in developing PCF Controls and Dataverse plugins will make you stand out. Experience with Copilot implementations is also a plus.
Additionally, you should have hands-on experience with integration technologies and be capable of creating comprehensive solution designs. A proven track record of delivering end-to-end projects, including integrations, reporting, and Power Platform components, is highly valuable.
