What this job involves

The primary focus of the role is to be responsible for building the low code/no code Power Platform solutions for workflow/dashboards in line with User StoriesOperating within the agreed business framework reporting to the business line Product Owner and Business Solutions TeamUtilising knowledge of Power Platform to increase the functionality of the core product offeringMaking recommendations to improve processes and tools, and constantly work towards standardised, streamlined, and efficient operationsProducing and maintaining high quality documentation and comments that supports development, testing and supportChallenging requirements by using Power Platform experience & suggesting alternative solutionsManaging the version control for each solutionAddressing and resolving bugs with live solutions without causing an adverse impact or are disruptive to business usersActively participating in planning, task creation, iteration design, daily stand-ups

Desired skills and experience for this job

Essential

Relevant, demonstrable experience of Business Process Automation through Power Platform specialising in Power Apps, Power Automate/Flow, Power Bi/Query and SharePoint / Microsoft 365Attention to detail and ability to break down complexities to manageable and actionable tasksTeam orientated, working well with othersCreative problem solver able to handle unexpected situations or difficult challengesAbility to manage and develop stakeholder relationshipsStrong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to manage own workload, effectively prioritise and work to tight deadlines with minimum supervision.Embody the Power Platform ethos, keep up to date with best practices and be an active member of the community

Desirable

Qualification/certification in Power Platform/O365 –PL-900, Pl-100, PL-300 and PL-600Knowledge, prior experience and/or certification in JSON, HTML, CSS or relevant coding experienceExperience with agile software development and delivery methodologies
