Job Description
Join a global leader in electric rotating machinery and industrial automation as part of the Advanced Development Team. This role focuses on next-generation AC drive systems, power converters, and electric machines.
Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and testing of AC drives, power converters, and motor control systems.Develop and tune motor control algorithms, including speed, torque, EMF, and field weakening.Design power electronics and motor architectures.Create system models and simulations using MATLAB/Simulink.Collaborate with sales and customers to define product requirements.Mentor engineers and lead complex engineering projects.Essential Skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.7 to 10 years of experience in designing AC systems, including induction, motor control, power electronics, and drive design.Experience leading project development phases.Experience leading or mentoring junior engineers.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in power electronics, power supply design, and AC/DC systems.Work Environment
The position requires onsite presence in Carmel, with occasional travel to customer sites. The work environment supports collaboration, innovation, and leadership in engineering projects.

This is a Permanent position based out of Carmel, Indiana.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
Benefits package will be provided.
