You will own the analog/power design, integration, and validation of overall system-level solutions that push the boundaries of technology.
**Required Skills:**
Power Electrical Engineer, Reality Labs Responsibilities:
1. Lead all the analog and power system architecture
2. charging architecture
3. chipset selection, and system integration for the battery powered product
4. Responsible for creating power models to estimate battery day of use, power circuit design, simulation, validation, and characterization across multiple products, ensuring their successful delivery
5. Generate design documentation, perform schematic capture and power delivery network simulation both pre and post board layout, prototype bring-up, and design validation
6. Characterize power consumption, battery run time, and battery charging/discharging curve at each New Product Introduction (NPI) build. Collect power measurements for weekly Software builds and drive power consumption optimization cross-functionally
7. Root-cause and solve technical issues during new product development and support in-field escalations
8. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as industrial design

12. Work closely with CM/JDM resources to leverage their engineers and maximize the focus of internal resources on adding value to and differentiating our product
13. Evaluate and enable innovative solutions for cost, size, efficiency, safety, and reliability
**Minimum Qualifications:**

14. BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience
15. 6+ years of experience in low power design and delivery in consumer electronics or related experience
16. Knowledge of the characteristics of power conversion such as linear and switching regulators
17. Working experience in battery management systems, mobile SoC, or PMIC
18. Experience and knowledge of printed circuit board (PCB) technologies, such as rigid, flex, hybrid, HDI or similar technologies

19. 8+ years of industry experience in low voltage power design in consumer electronics or related fields
20. MS or PHD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
21. Demonstrated experience in bringing new technologies to product
22. Experience performing bench level power measurements to validate battery life
23. Experience running PDN and PI simulations such as Sigrity or Hyperlynx
24. System integration experience involving coexistence between PMICs and wireless sub-systems
25. Knowledge of the relationship between physical layout and electrical performance
26. Experience leading technical teams, cross-functional groups, and vendors against plans
**Public Compensation:**
$139,000/year to $200,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
