Join our team as a Software Engineer and play a pivotal role in the development of cutting-edge power conversion technology for Ford's electric vehicle lineup. In this role, you will lead the software design for critical modules such as OBC, DC-DC, and OBCC.
Qualifications & Skills Required
Master Degree in Automation/Electronic Power is preferred. Power conversion module supplier 3 years S/W design experience is preferred. Experienced with Charging System or components S/W development process. Good knowledge of Netcom, Diagnostic, Functional Safety, Cybersecurity, AutoSAR and ASPICE. Familiar with GB/ISO/DIN DC&AC charging protocols. Familiar with Ford GPDS or product development process. Strong Communication, Planning and Project Management Skills and Self-Starter capable of establishing processes and delivering results. Fluent in both oral and written English.Roles & Responsibilities
Lead power conversion modules OBC/DCDC/OBCC/BCCMi3/ePTO etc. S/W design. Cascade Ford OBC/DCDC/OBCC/BCCMi3/ePTO S/W requirements (IFS/SFR/RQT/DR) to supplier and review supplier design to make sure meet Ford requirements. Review with Ford internal SW related cross-functional teams(SW Core, Netcom, Diagnostic, Functional Safety, Cybersecurity, AutoSAR and ASPICE) on both requirements clarification and supplier feedbacks. Tracking supplier S/W development & testing plan and other deliverables (Netcom, Diagnostic, Functional Safety, Cybersecurity, AutoSAR and ASPICE) to meet program milestones. Lead OBC/DCDC/OBCC/BCCMi3/ePTO S/W related quality issues investigation and solutions identification. Conduct vehicle level S/W validation. Charging related regulation and market technical trend tracking and countermeasure plan support.
