Job Summary

We are looking for a talented and experienced Power BI developer to join our global AI, Data & Analytics team and help deliver insights and solutions.  You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting BI solutions.  You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across various teams and departments to gather requirements, design data models, build visualizations, deliver dashboards and reports.

You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the development of innovative solutions on a global scale.

Responsibilities

Engage with business users to gather and understand their data and reporting needsDocument and communicate data definitions, business rules, and best practicesDesign and develop dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI and DatabricksCreate efficient data models in Power BI using DAX calculations and Power Query MPublish and share dashboards and reports to workspaces and appsOptimize data models and reports for performance and usabilityImplement row-level security on data and ensure data integrityEnsure data quality and accuracy by validating and testing data sources, queries, and calculationsProvide support and training to end users on Power BI features and functionalitiesStay updated on the latest trends and developments in Power BI and other BI technologies and best practices

 

Qualifications

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or more than 2 years of related experienceAbility to gather and interpret business requirements and translate them into technical specificationsProven experience as a Power BI developer in a Premium Capacity using a variety of data sourcesProficient in Power BI, DAX, Power M language, and data modeling techniquesStrong knowledge of SQL and relational databases

Preferred:

Certification in Power BI or other data visualization toolsExperience in other BI tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or SSRSExperience in data warehousing, ETL, or data integrationKnowledge of data analysis and statisticsExperience in agile or scrum methodologies

 

Soft skills

Strong communication skills, ability to clearly communicate well in both written and spoken English.Japanese language is a plus but not mandatoryAttention to detail and problem-solving skillsAble to work independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environmentSelf-motivated and willing to take challengesWilling to work in different time zones when needed as many of our colleagues and business users are in different offices in the world
