CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for a Power Apps Developer. Type: Contract Job Title: Power Apps Developer Location: Remote, open to US locations, however, Charlotte, NC local preferred. Candidates must be willing to support EST time zone. Pay Rate: $40.50 to $42.95 Work Hours: M–F 8am–5pm Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field (preferred); Associate’s degree plus relevant experience (minimum) Description We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Power Platform resource to join our innovative technology team. The ideal candidate should possess extensive hands-on experience across the Microsoft Power Platform suite—including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Copilot Studio. This individual will serve as a key contributor in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining solutions that drive operational efficiency, data-driven decision-making, and digital transformation initiatives throughout the organization. Requirements • Solution Design and Development: Architect, develop, and implement scalable applications and automations using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate, and other Power Platform tools • Process Automation: Analyze business processes and design end-to-end workflows to streamline operations • Integration: Integrate Power Platform with Microsoft 365, Azure, and third-party systems • Governance and Security: Apply best practices for data governance, security, compliance, and lifecycle management • End-User Enablement: Conduct training, develop documentation, and empower users and citizen developers • Continuous Improvement: Monitor, maintain, and optimize solutions with analytics and user feedback • Technical Support: Provide troubleshooting and ongoing support for Power Platform applications • Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders, developers, and IT teams to align with business goals • Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation Required Qualifications Education • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field (preferred) • Associate’s degree plus relevant experience (minimum) Qualifications • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Copilot Studio) • Ability to independently design, develop, and manage Power Apps solutions from inception to deployment • Proficient in both Canvas and Model-Driven Power Apps development • Strong process automation and workflow design experience using Power Automate • Experience building Power BI dashboards and writing DAX queries • Integration experience with SharePoint, Teams, Azure, SQL, Power BI, and REST APIs • Familiarity with Dataverse, Common Data Service, and data connectors • Understanding of ALM concepts and tools such as Azure DevOps • Knowledge of security, environment management, and data loss prevention in Power Platform • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills • Microsoft Power Platform certification (PL-400 or equivalent) is highly desirable • Up-to-date with Power Platform features and industry trends Preferred Skills • Experience with AI Builder, custom connectors • Power Fx and JavaScript development • Agile/Scrum experience • Experience in large enterprise or regulated environments • Mentorship or support for citizen developers • UI/UX design understanding • Familiarity with Power Platform Center of Excellence toolkit Additional Information • No third-party resumes will be accepted • Drug testing and/or other employment-related inquiries may be conducted • CTG will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws • All interested individuals MUST be able to work on a W2 Tax basis (no C2C or third-party vendors) • CTG is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer • CTG is an E-Verify Company To be considered for this opportunity, please apply directly through our website or email your Word version resume and salary expectations to Jamie.Robinson@ctg.com.
