The College of Pharmacy is looking for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to serve as a member of the Pharmaceutical Sciences team. What you need to know
Salary: $50,000

Schedule: May have to work on the weekend and/or after normal business hours.
Other: This position is grant funded; future employment may be contingent upon future funding. This position will require export-control authorization prior to starting employment. May require travel as needed.
Qualifications
Required Education
+ Appropriate PhD in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
+ PhD in pharmaceutical Sciences
+ Hands on experience pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, dosage form characterization technique, HPLC, UPLC-MS.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
+ Excellent verbal and written skills.
+ Presentation skills.
+ Analytical skills.
+ Attention to detail.
+ Theoretical/practical experience with pharmaceuticals dosage forms, pharmaceutical manufacturing, characterization technique, pharmacokinetics.
Responsibilities
Effort Research
+ The postdoc will intensively work in the lab to manufacture and characterize the formulations.
+ The postdoc will work on pharmacokinetic evaluation of the formulations.
+ The postdoc will intensively participate in data analysis and preliminary data collection and provide support for establishing a workshop for interprofessional education
+ Under general supervision, is responsible for conducting research into their field of expertise.
+ The postdoc will also compile data files set from research teams.
+ The assigned work will be extended to collect, interpret, and analyze data, compile results, prepare reports, and present their conclusions.
+ Utilizes knowledge and skills granted to them by their education and expertise to complete research projects in their field of expertise.
Administrative Duties
+ The postdoc will order and organize lab supplies and chemicals.
+ The postdoc will also participate in poster and podium presentation of the collected results.
Presentations
+ Actively participates in the preparation of required technical progress reports to research sponsors.
