The post-doctoral position will focus on leveraging mesenchymal stem cells as delivery vehicles for oncolytic viruses (OVs). Additionally, the research will focus on exploring the tumor immune microenvironment.
*LEARNING OBJECTIVES*
The post-doc will receive training and mentoring in the use of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) as delivery vehicles for oncolytic viruses (OVs), capitalizing on MSCs' tumor-homing abilities. The research will explore how these therapies modulate the tumor immune
microenvironment (TIME).
All duties and responsibilities are carried out in compliance with institutional policies, ethical research standards, and applicable federal and state regulations.
*ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS*
The applicant should have a PhD and/or MD as well as peer-reviewed publications or manuscripts under review in internationally recognized journals. A strong background in medicine, molecular biology, and cell biology is also required.
