The post-doctoral position will involve basic and translational research in the area of brain tumor cell biology and mouse models of primary and metastatic brain cancer. There will be a particular emphasis on the brain microenvironment, including studies of how primary and metastic tumor cells co-opt the neurovascular unit/blood-brain barrier for selective growth and survival. *LEARNING OBJECTIVES* The postdoc will receive training and mentoring in the use of mouse models and in vitro culture systems to study cell adhesion and signaling pathways involved in tumor cell-stromal cell interactions. Biochemical, molecular genetical and cell biological techniques will also be emphasized. *ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS* A strong background in biochemistry, molecular biology, and cell biology is required.
