PostDoctoral Associate
**PostDoctoral Associate** **Requisition Number:** 65909 **Location:** Boulder Colorado **Employment Type:** Research Faculty **Schedule:** Full Time **Posting Close Date:** 31-Jul-2025 **Date Posted:** **Job Summary** The Chuong Laboratory investigates how transposable elements shape gene regulatory networks in mammalian health and disease. We combine cutting-edge genomics (bulk and long-read RNA-seq, single-cell analysis), epigenomic profiling (CUT&RUN, ATAC-seq), and functional genomics (CRISPR/Cas9 editing, high-throughput screens) to dissect how transposable elements shape gene regulation. We focus primarily on gene regulatory networks involved in immune responses and cancer. Our overall objective is to decode this hidden layer of non-coding regulatory variation and leverage these insights to advance human health. This position is for a postdoctoral associate who will be responsible for leading independent projects and collaborating on multiple other projects in the lab. A mix of experimental and computational projects are available.
