**The Position**
We are seeking a highly motivated PostDoc to develop novel methods for the discovery and validation of innovative therapeutic concepts in the field of chronic liver diseases. With your passion for cardio-renal-metabolic diseases, you can apply your scientific expertise to develop new ideas for drug discovery projects. Take this opportunity to join a highly motivated team in our Cardio-Renal-Metabolic Diseases Research department at our biggest R&D site in Biberach an der Riss.
Post Doc: This Position is limited for 2 years.

**Tasks & responsibilities**
+ In your new role, you will perform research independently and keep records of experiments accurate and up to date.
+ You will work in a multidisciplinary team with members from various scientific backgrounds.
+ As Post Doc in the Cardio-Renal-Metabolic team, you will perform state-of-the-art biochemical, molecular biology, and cell culture methods to study pathological vascular remodeling in liver cirrhosis.
+ Furthermore, you will closely interact with experts in the field of computational biology.
+ In addition, you will publish scientific results in peer-reviewed scientific journals and present data at international conferences.
**Requirements**
+ PhD with a strong background in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, and Cell Biology
+ Strong expertise in the field of endothelial biology preferably in context of chronic liver disease
+ Knowledge in mammalian cell and tissue culture, experienced in methods to investigate interplay between different hepatic cell types; knowledge in microfluidic liver vasculature systems is a plus
+ Experience in systematic analysis and condensation of genomics data would be advantageous
+ Very good oral communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to maintain focus in a complex environment
+ Fluency in English; German language skills would be a plus
