**Job Title:** Neurology Specialist **Practice:** Veterinary Specialists Scotland (VSS) **Location:** Livingston, Scotland **Hours:** Full-time position, 4 or 5 days per week, with 2 nights on call and 1:4 weekends on call. **Job Type:** Month Fixed Term Contract A great opportunity has arisen for a Neurology Clinician/Specialist to join our team for a fixed term 3 or 4-month contract starting around November 2025. **Why Join us?** + High field MRI scanner + C-arm fluoroscopy (video X-ray) allowing real time visualisation of the procedure + GE Logiq E10 ultrasound machine + 64 slice CT scanner + Dedicated surgical ward for dogs and a separate ward for cats + Separate 24-hour staffed intensive care unit with oxygen cage + Fully equipped, dedicated soft tissue operating room with bacteriologically filtered, positive pressure ventilation **The Team** We are a vibrant, friendly and collaborative team, who all work together to provide outstanding patient and client care. We currently take referrals in feline and canine medicine, soft tissue surgery, orthopaedics, cardiology and neurology, supported by a team of Specialist Anaesthetists and Diagnostic Imagers. Our team of interns ensure hospitalised patients receive care out-of-hours, although we are always available to support them. Our expanding nursing team has a wealth of experience in referral practice and supports our vision of providing excellence in patient care. In turn, the nurses are assisted by the veterinary care assistants, and we also have a strong client care team to deal with administrative aspects. Veterinary Specialists, Scotland is a newly established and rapidly expanding, purpose-built, multi-disciplinary referral centre in the heart of Scotland.
