We are seeking an ambitious post-doctoral scientist, with strong synthetic organic research and communication skills, to contribute to the development of innovative technical solutions and developing next-generation solutions for oligonucleotide synthesis and purification. In this role, you will:
Design, develop, and execute multi-step organic syntheses to support our pipeline of innovative oligonucleotide molecules.Focus on overcoming current bottlenecks in the synthesis and purification of complex short and long RNA sequences, as well as chemically diverse constructs, by leveraging advanced chemical techniques.Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team spanning organic and analytical chemistry, chemical biology, and purification development. Work closely with experts in oligonucleotide synthesis and process engineering, supported by advanced facilities, cutting-edge instrumentation, and strong mentorship.Identify areas of key need across clinical development and champion creative solutions to address those needs. Maintain external awareness and learn to benefit the organization.Present findings at conferences and publish in high quality peer-reviewed journals.Basic Qualifications
PhD in Chemistry or related field (PhD degree expected before Dec 2025).Ability to identify and exploit new scientific concepts, employ strong problem-solving skills, and be self-motivated and adaptable. Strong background in synthetic organic and/or oligonucleotide chemistry. Knowledge of fundamental structural/molecular properties of organic molecules/oligonucleotides, equilibrium and kinetic principles, and their application in reaction development and improvement. Experience with characterization of organic/peptide products by NMR, HPLC, and MS.Additional Skills/Preferences

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$58,000 - $100,320Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
