At Boehringer Ingelheim in Ingelheim, you have the opportunity to make a decisive contribution to the sustainable improvement of human and animal health as a postdoc in the field of drug product development. Evaluate new technologies, develop and optimize innovative formulations and manufacturing processes. 
In this role, they are part of a dynamic team and play a crucial part in the successful implementation of pharmaceutical development projects. 

This Position is limited for 2 years.

Tasks & responsibilities 

Your task will be to develop and optimize platform formulations such as tablets, oral solutions or suspensions as well as chewable tablets. With your know-how, you will evaluate new technologies that contribute to improving bioavailability and increasing the quality of our medicines. In addition, you are involved in the development of methods for the physico-chemical characterization of excipients, intermediates and pharmaceutical products. Another focus of your work is the evaluation of process analysis methods with which process control in pharmaceutical production can be optimized. 

Requirements 

Promotion in Pharmaceutical Technology or related fields Sound knowledge of pharmaceutical formulation development, physico-chemical characterization of excipients and pharmaceutical dosage forms Strong communication skills, structured work style, organizational talent and team spirit Very good spoken and written English
