Summary:

This role is responsible for functioning as part of a team to meet production goals. This position will communicate production issues and take direction from the department supervisor on a daily basis.

Compensation for this position will be determined based on various factors, including experience, skills, and internal equity. The expected salary range for this role is between $20.00 and $23.00 p/h. Additional compensation may include overtime, shift differentials, and premium pay. Essential Functions: Coordinate all manufacturing parameters relating to the safe, efficient production of Silicone foam Perform all duties related to inventory and transporting materials Responsible for safe disposal of scrap and waste Assure that a sufficient quantity of raw material base is available to meet daily production demands First In/First Out (FIFO) maintenance Communicate with various departments such as quality, shipping and value added relative to product quality issues and availability of material for further processing or shipping Identify and communicate quality issues and inventory discrepancies  Other duties as assigned Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of education 1+ years relevant manufacturing experience Forklift certified or ability to become certified Mechanical aptitude
