Job Description
The POS Process Specialist will play a crucial role within the Sales & Trade Marketing Team, supporting the execution of the Point of Sale (POS) strategy. This position is responsible for implementing initiatives that fulfill strategic POS objectives and ensuring the timely delivery of POS materials that adhere to brand standards. The role involves partnering cross-functionally to support sales teams in distributing and executing POS strategies effectively.
ResponsibilitiesExecute the POS strategy as established by Brand and Trade Marketing Teams.Drive and oversee the execution of day-to-day needs, change management, and awareness of POS in collaboration with internal and external teams.Liaise with POS Operations to ensure timely delivery of inventory.Serve as the first point of contact for technical or business support regarding POS assets.Analyze and place all POS orders for VIP Display drives, Yard Sales, and ad-hoc roll-ups.Support timely execution of all POS materials with internal cross-functional teams.Support Sales and Distribution with Business Planning and Budgeting efforts.Ensure all content for Business Planning is delivered on schedule with proper cross-functional Leadership approval.Serve as a project manager for certain Business Planning tasks.Support project efforts in Sales and Trade Marketing and lead implementation activities.Communicate proactively with key account and distribution stakeholders and external vendors on POS projects.Execute POS Inventory survey, including data analysis and reporting.Support ongoing optimization of Trade Marketing insights on inventory levels.Manage internal communications to drive awareness of POS updates and strategies.Create POS updates in internal communication tools.Manage internal shared drive for tracking and organizing POS projects.Maintain a POS calendar of key dates, deadlines, and display drives.Essential Skills1-2 years of experience in the consumer goods industry with exposure to retailers.Strong planning, prioritization, and project management competencies.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.Technical knowledge of POS Production (Print, Permanent, Temporary).Exceptional communication skills, including presenting, writing, and collaboration abilities.Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.Strong interpersonal skills for cross-department networking.Conscientious with strong attention to detail and self-starting attitude.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with BI tools is preferred.Experience in Monday.com or other project management tools is preferred.Work Environment
The position offers a hybrid work environment from Monday to Thursday, allowing for a balance between remote and in-office work settings.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
