**MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE:**
+ Manage projects relating to licensing and acquisition of new products (business case development, proposal preparation, cross-function / affiliate alignment, support deal negotiation, partner relationship development.
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES**
**New product project /** **business development**
+ Part of the NPI / Business Development team, being responsible for driving business development, licensing, acquisition projects across APAC countries
+ To create a comprehensive picture of the market/product opportunity. Develops strategies from market and medical/clinical data (trends, unmet therapy needs) and clinical profile/indications/patents of product, develops a SWOT analysis, forecast short and long-term market development and product potential.
+ Project management – manage and execute new product projects, including product assessment, business case development and proposal, cross-function coordination, partner evaluation and negotiation, due diligence, and support contracting works.
**Market research**
+ To develop, recommend, create, and review market research solutions through quantitative and qualitative research, and local initiatives.
+ To construct future markets for New Business Development and pipeline products through compilation of data.
+ Partnership with Marketing Team to develop situational analysis for business case development.
+ To expand company awareness of business opportunities in line with Company’s strategic goals.
**Others**
+ To ensure team activities to comply with Company Business Code of Conduct and all local applicable laws within scope of function responsibility.
+ Special projects as directed & assigned by Head of BD.
**MINIMUM BACKGROUND/ EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
**Work** **Experience**
+ Experience in either business development, project management in regards of new product licensing and acquisition, or sales & marketing in the pharmaceutical segment with at least 5 years at MNC.
+ Have good knowledge & experience in market research. Deep understanding macro market environment.
+ B2B experience is an advantage
**Education**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy/Doctor
+ Post-Graduate: MBA qualification is desirable
