Portfolio Director of Finance and Business Support Are you a strategic finance leader with a passion for driving business performance across a diverse portfolio? We are seeking a Portfolio Director of Finance & Business Support to join our executive leadership team and play a pivotal role in shaping the financial and operational success of our business. A little taste of your day-to-day Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be: · Lead and oversee all financial and business support functions including audits across the portfolio, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and goals. · Ensure that all communication and documentation related to the Board are managed efficiently and effectively. · Provide strategic financial insights to drive decision-making, business growth, and operational excellence. · Develop and manage financial frameworks, reporting, and performance monitoring across multiple business units. · Partner with senior leadership to evaluate new opportunities, manage risks, and optimize returns. · Ensure compliance with corporate governance, financial regulations, and reporting standards. · Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing finance and business support teams. · Setting exceptional accounting practice standards and ensuring financial control procedures remain ethical and legal · Maximising financial returns through financial analysis, data trends and market information – while budgeting accordingly · Enhancing the guest experience through improved payment options, inventory controls and financial dispute resolution What we need from you ● Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Accounting and Finance   ● 4-8 years’ experience in hotel accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience  ● Knowledge of accounting management duties e.g., negotiating hotel space and tenant leases, processing payroll, performing asset management duties, providing business projections, displacement analysis, preparing government reports, filing tax returns, board reporting etc ● Professional accounting or finance designation or certification preferred   What you can expect from us We give our people everything they need to succeed.
