1. Diagnoses, repairs and maintains public swimming pools, water systems, filter systems, pumps and fountains. Maintains pool pumps and filters by cleaning and servicing swimming pool filtration units. Ensures equipment such as pool covers, diving boards and slides are in good working order.
2. Maintains proper pH and Chlorine chemical balance for pools by regularly testing swimming pool water quality and pH balance. Maintains values for good water quality by testing the chemical levels in public swimming pools and other water systems and adjusts as needed. Transports and stores hazardous chemicals. Operates in compliance with all health and safety regulations and department and enterprise policies and procedures to ensure a safe pool environment at all times. Ensures pool areas are visibly closed to guests during any pool maintenance involving safety concerns.
3. Uses swimming pool vacuum cleaners to clean pool floor. Uses telescopic pole with net to clean and remove leaves and other debris. Maintains pool area including cleaning of deck and other maintenance tasks. Picks-up trash and cleans public swimming pools, restrooms and other assigned facility areas.
4. Responds to swimming pool related work orders in timely, friendly and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and equipment.
5. Maintains manual and automated records of all activities and prepares daily/weekly/ monthly reports. Logs and reports equipment faults and water quality problems to management promptly.
6. Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum two (2) years’ experience, preferably in a hospitality environment required.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities (Ksa)Knowledge of proper pool cleaning and maintenance methods.
Extensive knowledge of swimming pool chemicals and their properties.
Experience with electrical, plumbing, pool repair preferred.
CPO is preferred

Mobility sufficient to safely move in an office environment, walk, stoop, bend and kneel, and enter, exit and operate a motor vehicle in the course of travel to promotional events, meetings, conferences, trade shows and San Manuel properties.
Endurance sufficient to sit, walk and stand for extended periods, and maintain efficiency throughout the entire work shift and during extended work hours.
