Margaritaville Resort Lake Conroe is seeking reliable, friendly, and observant individuals to join our team as Seasonal Pool Deck Safety Officers. This position plays a key role in ensuring the safety, enjoyment, and comfort of our guests at the water park by monitoring access points, greeting guests, and conducting bag checks to enforce our outside food and beverage policy. Qualifications Safety Officer Responsibilities & Duties Warmly greet guests as they arrive at the water park entry points. Conduct spot checks of bags and personal items to ensure compliance with resort policies (e.g., no outside alcohol or food). Clearly communicate park rules and safety guidelines to guests in a professional and courteous manner. Remain vigilant and attentive while stationed at assigned posts. Collaborate with security or resort management to report violations, concerns, or incidents. Maintain a strong and visible presence to promote a safe and enjoyable atmosphere. Provide basic guest assistance and answer questions regarding park amenities and policies. Stand for extended periods outdoors in various weather conditions, including high heat. QUALIFICATIONS: Must be at least 18 years of age. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Comfortable working outside for long periods in a hot and humid environment. Ability to remain alert, focused, and courteous during long shifts. Ability to follow resort policies and enforce rules tactfully and respectfully.
