A Polysomnographic Technologist works under the direction of a registered polysomnographic technologist and the clinical coordinator to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. This may involve polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services or patient care and education. A Polysomnographic Technologist can provide supervision of a Polysomnographic Trainee. **The value youll bring to the team:** + Reviews patient history, physical information, medications, procedure request and study protocol. + Explains procedure and orients patient to the sleep center. + Prepare and calibrate equipment required for testing to determine proper functioning and adjust if necessary. + Apply electrodes and sensors per accepted standards. + Perform appropriate physiologic calibrations to ensure proper signals and adjust if necessary. + Perform positive airway pressure mask fitting Qualifications **The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed** **:** + BCLS - Basic Life Support Required + RPSGT - Registered Polysomnographic Technologist RRT-SD Certification Required This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
