Get to Know Your Team: Hillcrest Hospital Cushing is a 99-bed community-owned facility offering 24-hour emergency services, cardiology, general surgery, orthopedics, diagnostic imaging, withdrawal stabilization, wound care and urology. Responsibilities Performs various polysomnograms and other sleep disorder tests. Attaches electrodes and monitors to patients who are participating in a sleep study. Monitors the patient throughout the sleep study and documents observations Collects data from various monitors and reports this information to the Medical Director. Responsible for CPAP titration, BiPAP Titration, Servo Titration Studies and oxygen therapy when applicable. Answers directly to the Respiratory Therapy/Sleep Lab Manager. The RPSGT also scores and prepares sleep studies for the Physician serving as the Sleep Lab Medical Director. Qualifications Job Requirements: Technical/Vocational Training Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) (upon hire) BLS (upon hire) The Technologist should be able to use the AASM Inter Scorer Reliability program scoring 200 pages of a Sleep Record each month with scoring graded by the AASM.
