Under the supervision of physicians and in the presence of a Registered Sleep Technologist (RPSGT, RRT-SDS, or RST), the Polysomnographic Sleep Technician (Poly Tech) performs patient care duties and provides excellent customer service while actively completing the ASTEP program and receiving on-the-job training. There will be occasional travel to the CHP North Satellite.Working hours will be 5:45pm-6:15am, 3 nights per week and every other weekend. No holidays!
Responsibilities:
Enroll in and complete the ASTEP program within one year of hire
Under the direction of senior staff, assist with:
Preparing patients for sleep testing
Educating patients on sleep procedures
Analyzing and scoring sleep studies
Performing therapeutic treatments and interventions
Cleaning equipment and patient rooms
Inventory and restocking
Complete monthly ISR as a training scorer
Attend monthly staff meetings and required trainings
