JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Policy Services Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the policy service needs of clients, advisors, and agents, ensuring smooth processing of policy transactions, and maintaining strong relationships with insurance carriers. The ideal candidate will have experience in the insurance industry, excellent communication skills, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Policy Administration:Manage policy changes and updates, ensuring accuracy and timely processingCoordinate with insurance carriers to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to policiesAssist clients and agents with policy inquiries and lapse notificationsProcess policy conversions
Customer Service:Handle incoming calls, emails, and messages from agents and clients regarding policy inquiries or requestsProvide exceptional service to agents and clients by addressing issues promptly and accurately
System Updates and Reporting:Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our agency management systemGenerate reports for management on policy status, lapse notifications, and other key metricsCoordinate the accuracy of all of our inforce policies as reported in PowerBI
Collaboration:Work closely with agents/advisors, operational teams, sales teams, and insurance carriers to ensure a seamless policy service experienceSupport the leadership team and other team members with special projects as neededPerforms other duties and projects as assigned.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredInsurance-related certifications (e.g., Life & Health licenses) preferred, but not required2+ years of experience in life insurance policy services, preferably within a BGA, carrier, or insurance agencyKnowledge of life insurance products, policies, and carrier processes is highly preferredKnowledge and Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbalDetail-oriented with the ability to multitask and manage multiple prioritiesProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) Ability to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task without losing focus.Comfortable with routine, repetitive tasksBENEFITS PACKAGE:
