Key Areas of Accountability:

Set guidelines for, and execute, nationwide merchandiser coverageManage budget of third party (OPEX)Set, track, and review third party KPIs Coordinate with Channel Team on promo and activation details; cascade all details to third partyCoordinate with Channel Team on promo and activation details; cascade all details to third partyCoordinate with Marketing and Channel on a Point-of-purchase plan for the brands, aligned to shopper journey and guided by shopper communication prioritiesDevelop and execute POP materials in coordination with Purchasing and SuppliersManage display rental budgetsCoordinate with Channel and Field Sales on display rental plan for the channelsMonitor and review actual implementation in both supermarkets and drug storesPrepare merchandising guidelines for regular and secondary displays, and for promotionsSupervise development and execution of specific in-store shelf planograms (prepared by contractor)Release regular reports on on-shelf availability and distribution for supermarkets and drugstores

Knowledge & Experience:

Supervisory or individual contributor experience in field sales, trade marketing, or merchandising, preferably in the fast-moving consumer goods industryFirst-hand experience in working with merchandising agencies is preferredBudgetary managementProject management Category managementMS Office applications proficiency

Minimum Qualification:

College education - preferably Marketing or Business Management GraduateWith at least two years previous work experience in Trade Sales, Trade Marketing, or Merchandising (including a stint as Key Account Manager / Supervisor or Distributor Manager/ Supervisor)
