Wood is currently sourcing for a suitably qualified Subcontract Lead with extensive experience within EPC environment to join our PNG In-Country team at LNGP, Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea on a walk-in walk out schedule (5 days on/ weekend off, 8 hours/day).

Reporting to the In-Country Manager with a dotted line to the Commercial Manager in Australia, the In-Country Subcontracts Lead is responsible for managing and overseeing the subcontract activities across Wood Group’s projects within Papua New Guinea. This critical role ensures that subcontractor engagement, contract administration and performance management are aligned with project objectives, company policies & procedures, and local legislative requirements.

The role requires strong commercial acumen, leadership capability and the ability to proactively manage risks, drive efficiencies and deliver best-value outcomes to support project success. 

This role also provides leadership support to the in-country procurement team.
