About the Role 

As a Residential- Field Service Specialist, you’ll be responsible for replacing and testing residential gas meters in the field. You’ll ensure safe and accurate installations while interacting professionally with utility customers. This role is part of a multi-year project.  

What You’ll Do 

Remove and install residential gas meters and regulators. 

Perform gas leak tests using company-provided equipment. 

Identify and repair gas leaks and abnormal operating conditions. 

Shut down and relight gas appliances safely. 

Collect and document installation data using a handheld device. 

Communicate clearly and professionally with utility customers. 

Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity. 

What We’re Looking For 

Required Qualifications: 

High school diploma or GED. 

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. 

Ability to pass a pre-employment MVR, background check, and DOT PHMSA-compliant drug screen. 

Physical ability to work outdoors for up to 10 hours/day in all weather conditions. 

Comfortable using hand tools and lifting up to 30 lbs. 

  

Preferred Qualifications: 

Experience in natural gas field service or meter installation. 

Familiarity with gas appliance safety and operation. 

Strong communication skills and ability to work independently. 

Experience with handheld devices and basic software tools.

Pay Details: $22.00 per hour
