Your mission: PwC Luxembourg is seeking a highly motivated and experienced PMO Officer ( Manager grade) to join the Core Project Unit department . This role will play a critical part in shaping and supporting the execution of the firm’s project management governance, best practices, and methodologies. The role will focus on providing frameworks, training, tools, and best practice recommendations to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects and programs within the firm.

Be involved in Governance & Methodology:
Maintain and update project management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices;Maintain governance structures that ensure alignment with organizational objectives and strategic goals;Establish and monitor key project metrics, reporting mechanisms, and compliance requirements.Provide Project Support & Advisory:
Provide guidance, templates, tools, and training to project managers and teams to enhance project execution capabilities;Act as an advisor to project managers and project stakeholders, offering insights into project planning, execution, and delivery;Facilitate knowledge sharing and lessons learned sessions to improve future project performance;Lead and suggest portfolio improvement initiatives to enhance project management efficiency and effectiveness.
Do Portfolio & Budget Management:
Manage the Annual Budgeting Process for internal investment and operations-related projects, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities;Oversee Project Request & SAP Code Management to streamline project initiation and financial tracking;Ensure accurate and timely monthly alerting and reporting regarding internal portfolios, keeping leadership informed on key project developments;Monitor and follow up on PPM reporting to maintain visibility on project portfolio performance;Oversee Microsoft PPM Online Access Management requests to ensure controlled and efficient access to project management tools.

Hold a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Management, IT, Engineering, or a related field;Have at least 5-7 years of experience in a PMO function, project/program management, or related discipline;Have background in Finance preferably;Hold PMI certification (PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP) or equivalent (highly desirable, but not mandatory);Show strong understanding of PMO frameworks;Have experience in implementing governance structures, methodologies, and best practices within an enterprise environment;Possess proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project or similar;Demonstrate strong analytical skills with experience in portfolio reporting and project performance metrics;Have excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills;Last but not least, we are looking for a self-starter who handles ambiguity well, drives topics forward, and proposes practical solutions.
