As a core member of the Technology Project Management Office (TPMO), the PMO Consultant will play a critical role in supporting the alignment, integration, and governance of Project Lifecycle (PLC)/Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and work closely with Project Teams and Stakeholders. Supports the Project Management Community thru training and coaching on the PLC/SDLC and provide governance through Checkpoint Reviews and Post Project Reviews.
Essential Job Functions:
Collaborate with wide range of partners and stakeholders to understand, plan and continuously improve project management frameworks, practices, and IT governanceCreate executive level content to communicate and reinforce awareness of portfolio health and emerging trends within the portfolioCreate, organize, and maintain content and documentation on Key’s Project Management Standards and Operational ProceduresProvide ongoing coaching and support for across multiple methodologies, including waterfall, agile, hybrid and emerging methodologies to the PM CommunityEstablish a framework for enhancing existing and incorporating new enterprise standards into the PLC/SDLCWork closely with our partners from 2LOD and Risk Review Group (RRG) in support of ongoing formal and informal audit requestStay abreast of emerging industry trends to facilitate ongoing training and support for the Project Management communityProvide support for PLC/SDLC governance, including but not limited to data quality, follow up, and reportingTrain end-users on tools supportedDemonstrate strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills for communications with technical and non-technical staffDevelop and deliver PMO CommunicationDrive change management efforts to promote/sustain adoptionDrive the inspection process for PLC adoptionConduct Project Post Project Reviews and maintain performance analyticsDrive best practices and plans to assess suitability and the need for changes, using information from stakeholders, PM Community feedback, and industry/professional organizationsDrives the Technology Project Management Office processes and proceduresEffectively manage ambiguity and work to drive changeDrives quality control, continuous improvement, and risk management – evaluate and monitor existing capabilities to ensure the PMO serves the critical needs of the KTOS Project Management CommunityCollaborate with functional partners including the EPMO, QAS, EA, LOBManage interest of multiple stakeholders with diverse opinions and perspectivesLeverage knowledge and experience of team members and partners to build strategy, identify issues and develop solutionsAddress and effectively manage conflictOther responsibilities as required to support the Project Management CommunityRequired Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experiencePMP, CSM Certification desiredMinimum of seven (7) years of experience as a Project Manager working effectively with cross-functional teamsProfessional presence with comfort level / experience working with senior and executive level managementProven ability to effectively collaborate and work with multiple partnersCritical thinker with established ability to anticipate and solve issues and concernsComfort level and ability to address conflict and challenging situationsAnalytical with ability to interpret data, see patterns/trends and propose solutionsAble to work independently with minimal guidance; self-directed; accepts ambiguityMust possess strong communication ability with solid presentation and facilitation skillsStrong business acumen with demonstrated knowledge of financial services industryProficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Jira/Confluence/KanbanCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $94,000 to $120,000 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
