Job Summary
The PMO Analyst works with Project Managers, Resource Managers and the PMO Director to: 1. Track and report on project metrics and IT portfolio on a regular basis; 2: Audit artifacts of projects and status reports to comply with PMO standards; 3: Track and report on resource allocations and utilization; 4: Develop and maintain project management templates and artifacts; 5: Support Project Managers in coordinating and participating in project related activities and deliverables. In addition to the role objectives listed above, the PMO Analyst may also act as a custodian for administering tools, templates, processes and systems as defined by the PMO.
Essential Duties
• Manage information on the overall portfolio of projects – active, next in line, pipeline, completed. Work with the Project Managers to ensure that the project information is updated regularly.
• Generate key performance indicators as defined by PMO for measuring, tracking and reporting at the portfolio level.
• Develop reports and dashboards to show project and portfolio statuses and metrics. Maintain up to date and accurate information on the dashboards.
• Collaborate with IT Business office to track budgets, actuals posted in the General Ledger and assist Project Managers in resolving variances.
• Monitor and communicate portfolio metrics on a regular basis (financial, resource, progress, other) to the PMO Director.
• Organize meetings with IT Resource Managers and Directors and assist in reviewing portfolio status with IT LeadersAuditing Compliance by Project Managers
• Assist PMO Director to define templates for artifacts. Document PMO Standards to complete status reports, project artifacts and process steps.
• Act as single point of contact for tools, templates and processes followed by PMO.
• Work with PMs to ensure that the project managers understand the requirements and follow PMO process throughout the life cycle of the project.
• Assist in auditing PM adherence to / compliance with best practices and GAF’s methodology – including proper use of gate reviews, delivery of artifacts, monitoring of financials and project success criteria.
• Establish regular feedback loop with Project Managers and work with PMO Principal and Director to improve artifacts delivery.Monitor and Report on Resource Planning and Utilization
• Collaborate with the Project Managers and Resource Managers to ensure that resource allocation plan is established and actual utilization is updated on a regular basis.
• Monitor and report planned and actual utilization across the portfolio.
• Collaborate with Resource Managers to ensure that up to date information is maintained on Resources, roles, skills and availability for project work.Develop and Maintain Project Management Templates and Artifacts
• Support the PMO Principal and Director in the development, rollout and monitoring of new project management templates and processes
• Create training materials and train Project Managers and Resource Managers in leveraging templates and tools deployed by PMOSupport Project Managers in Managing Projects
• Assist Project Managers in completing project management related tasks including but not limited to, updating Project Plans, completing artifacts, coordinating team meetings, tracking financials, resolving budget to actual variances, preparing training schedules, tracking issues and risks, etc.

Though employees are welcome to work in our office on Friday, this position must be performed in-office on Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely from the employee's home office on Friday.
