Job Description

Lead co-engineering and industrial development to optimize product and process design for manufacturability.

Ensure transferability of industrial activities by applying standard processes.

Oversee industrialization efforts during tendering, development, pre-serial, and serial production phases.

Manage special processes and critical operations to ensure product safety and reliability.

Drive adherence to industrial assumptions, costing, and validations at the tender stage.

Implement standard processes, technologies, and solutions during project execution.

Validate industrial scope at each development milestone and ensure readiness for serial production.

Supervise documentation, ERP data quality, and timely delivery.

Oversee timely implementation of manufacturing equipment in alignment with EHS, ergonomics, and project targets.

Promote continuous improvement and production support.

Manage team capacity, skills development, and workload forecasting.

Ensure compliance with EHS requirements and actively participate in management committees.

Contribute to internal process improvement and network collaboration.

Qualifications

Educational Requirements:

Technical education background.

Proven management skills.

Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Desired Knowledge / Experience:

Minimum 10 years of industrial experience, preferably in the railway industry within an international context.

Experience managing engineering and technical teams.

Strong knowledge in process engineering, manufacturing instructions, line balancing, and Lean Manufacturing.

Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) for BoM, routing, and configuration management.

Understanding of Quality and Health & Safety standards and systems.
