Job Description
As a PM Shift Production Assembler, you will be part of a dedicated team responsible for assembling medical devices. Your role will involve working on a fast-paced production line, where you will be trained on 12 stations over a 2-3 month period. You will use small hand tools to assemble units, following written English instructions. Occasionally, you may work in a clean room environment, where you will perform tasks such as labeling products and sealing packaging pouches.
ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with a team to complete production orders efficiently.Operate across 12 stations, requiring 2-3 months of training.Assemble units using small hand tools according to written English instructions.Work alongside team members or independently at your station.Maintain speed to avoid bottlenecks on the production line.Work in a clean room environment as needed, standing for the entire shift.Essential SkillsValid 2-year visa from the date of hire.1 year of recent Canadian experience in a fast-paced assembly role.Comfortable with a 1-year contract.Proficiency in using hand tools like crimpers, screwdrivers, and tweezers.Ability to work with small parts and pieces during assembly.Capability to stand for entire shifts and lift up to 30lbs occasionally.Basic computer skills and proficiency in English communication.Additional Skills & QualificationsSoldering experience.PCB assembly experience in a regulated environment.Ability to read instructions for soldering and match numbers to wires.Quick learning ability with attention to detail.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is clean and diverse, with a casual dress code. You will work in a culture that takes pride in its products and embraces all backgrounds. The team size is about 60 people. The PM shift runs from Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM. Cosmetics, jewelry, and certain personal items are not permitted in the cleanroom. Eating, drinking, and using phones on the production line are prohibited.
