**Your role and responsibilities**
This role serves as a transformation leader within the Product Excellence Office, reporting to the PM Practice Lead, this role focuses on driving and implementing the PM transformation across Infrastructure. The individual will act as a lead coach for the PM Practice Coaches within the business units, championing new practices and fostering an environment of change to drive adoption of the Winning Products Methodology.
In this role you will be responsible for the following:
Education and Activation:
* Own the website and related content for Winning Products in Infrastructure.
* Support the development and refinement of artifacts and templates for product offering deliverables.
* Work with SMEs to ensure product offering deliverables are current and well maintained.
* Serve as an advocate for product management best practices and methodologies.
* Own enablement and activation plan for new and existing product managers.
* Align all educational and enablement programs to the IBM HR and business expectations of Product Managers.
* Consider industry best practice when developing course design and activation programming.
* Coordinate and organize modularized learning programs for deep skill development.
* Analyze, evaluate, and overcome educational program risks, and produce course reports for Managers and Stakeholders.
Practice Implementation and Refinement:
* Play an active role in influencing the new practices and ensure smooth refinement of existing practices.
* Develop and deliver presentation materials and other written forms of communication to help bring clarity to those practices that aid in their adoption.
* Work closely with PEO leadership to align product management transformation efforts with the overall business strategy and objectives.
* Provide guidance on Aha design and implementation framework.
PM Community and PM Voice:
* Actively contribute to the growth of a collaborative and high-performance product management culture.
* Help establish a working culture of shared learning, advocacy for the role, and modernization of the PM role.
* Act as a trusted partner and advisor to product teams, providing coaching, mentorship, and support on product management principles.
* Provide and lend a hand when the PM voice is needed throughout the PEO.
PM Career Growth and Development:
* Develop career growth and development recommendations for Product Managers.
* Support the creation of new PM-focused learning paths to address gaps and develop skills.
Team management:
* Manage and mentor a team of practice coaches, setting clear expectations, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a collaborative work environment that encourages professional growth and development.
**Required technical and professional expertise**
* 5+ years of experience in Product Management profession.
* 3+ years of experience in contributing to the enablement, coaching, and education in the Product Management profession.
* Proven track record of implementing and advocating for product management processes and frameworks.
* Experience developing educational content, collaborating closely with senior PMs, and providing guidance that balances team autonomy and business unit consistency.
* Strong written communication skills that can tell a story and helps bring clarity to complex topics and practices.
* Strong leadership and influencing skills with a track record of driving change within an organization.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and experience engaging diverse audiences.
* Ability to work independently and across a matrixed organization, handling multiple projects and priorities with ease.
* Willingness to travel as required to support the business needs.
* A proactive, "get it done" attitude, with a passion for helping others succeed.
* Experience with data-driven product decision-making is required.
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
* Experience with Aha.
* Experience with existing product management tech stack such as Segment, Amplitude, WalkMe and others.
