Job DescriptionThe main objective of the F&B Supervisor is to assist food and beverage management in overseeing and supervising assigned areas in the F&B Department. Provide training, direction, and assistance to associates. Ensure service delivery and F&B offerings are served and presented in a timely manner, in accordance with company and Department of Health standards. Ensure food and beverage operations are seamless when occurring on assigned shift.
Responsibilities Assist the F&B Managers in daily operations and execution of food and beverage functions and outlets operations.Effectively assist in associate development, train, mentor and supervise the staff in assigned area during food and beverage service, opening set up and closing break down.At all times maintains the highest standards of professionalism towards all guests, associates, and managers in the Omni tradition.Responsible for adhering to & ensuring associate compliance with all hotel policies and procedures.Maintain constant engagement and interaction with clients and associates on assigned shift, to ensure a memorable guest experience.Responsible for adhering to all liquor liability laws & enforcement of TABC, Department of Health and TX food handler guidelines.Attend all designated training and meetings.Acts as host/server/server assistant/food runner as neededMust be able to handle all guests comments and complaints professionally and in accordance with Omni Service Standards to ensure guest satisfactionMust be able to handle associate disputes and/or disciplinary actionStay on the floor during peak hours.Assist in overall supervision of the department as outlined in manager’s job description.Observe, teach and correct staff’s service.Examine food preparation and beverage presentation.Maintain condition of outlets and assigned areas.Perform any other duties as assigned by restaurant manager/Director of Food & Beverage Qualifications Related F&B degree & or equivalent supervisory experience in positionMust have availability to work all shifts including weekends, holidays, days, and evenings.1 year of experience in Food and Beverage Supervision or Management role preferred.Must have the ability to manage deadlines.Understanding of Food and Beverage financials including cost and par controls is preferred.General knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Must have a strong attention to detail as well as strong customer service skills.Must be familiar with and adhere to all liquor liability laws.Must know emergency procedures and work to prevent accidentsMust have TABC and Food Handlers Certification
