Will need to reside in around the Triad area – Greensboro, Durham, Burlington, etc. Further out locations (i.e. Charlotte) may be acceptable for the right candidate. **Job Description:** + PM I (execution) – Responsible for the Distribution execution work for the Integrated Volt Volt Var (IVVC) projects in the Triad and Triangle North zones. + The is fairly typical management of scope/schedule/cost for capital projects. + This involves financial tracking and forecasting, engaging with operations stakeholders, providing status updates to executives, and using systems for tracking and reporting. Strong MS Excel skill is needed. + The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of PM experience in the utility industry – Electric Distribution or Transmission experience much preferred. + This position is typically retained to manage multiple White or Green I projects per the Project Management Center of Excellence Project Profile Matrix. **Required Qualifications** + Minimum of 5 years of project management experience. + Graduation from a two-year college or university. + Working knowledge of project management principles. Working Knowledge to Proficiency in Project Management, Decision Making, Critical Thinking, and Problem Solving; Project related work experience; Risk Management; Project Leadership; Proven Collaborative Team Member. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Graduation from a four-year college or university. Utility Technical Certifications/Training; PMI (PMP or CAPM) Certification; CMII certificates; Professional Engineer License. + Working knowledge to proficiency in project related Scheduling/ Cost Controls. + Experience in utility industry.
