**Amentum** is seeking a **Plumber - Journeyman** to support the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) Mission in Andros Island, Bahamas. AUTEC is a Major Range and Test Facility Base (MRTFB) and the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport's largest single team project, providing both deep and shallow water test and training environments. **Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance. Note: U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.** **Duties and Responsibilities:** + Installations, repairs, and maintenance of plumbing systems and fixtures in various settings commercial, industrial, residential buildings and distribution systems to include water supply, drainage and sewage. + Installation of piping, fixtures and appliances. + Diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing leaks, clogs and other plumbing issues to include sewer lift pumps. + Performing preventative maintenance inspections and testing. + Backflow prevention installation, inspections, testing and maintenance. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Minimum Requirements:** + High school graduate or equivalent. + Five (5) years of plumbing experience. + Journeyman Plumber certification required. + Background in facilities maintenance and construction. + Strong understanding of plumbing components and repair techniques. + Proper use of hand and power tools and personal protective gear. + Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, crawling, climbing and working in various conditions manholes, ditches and confined spaces. + Adhering to safety protocols procedures and guidelines, company policy and procedures. + Excellent oral and written communication skills. + **Must be able to reside in remote work location with limited medical facilities.** + **Valid U.S. passport will be required.** + **Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance. Note: U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance** . **Preferred Qualifications:** + Journeyman's Plumbing license with residential and commercial plumbing experience. + Certified in Backflow Preventor repairs and certifications.
