This is a full time Plumber position that will work with the Director of Plant Operations, Facility Manager, and the Maintenance Team to maintain the backflow preventers, preventative maintenance (PM) program, and basic plumbing. Plumber will also do all manner of plumbing from replacing faucets to running drain augers in mainlines of the hospital. Medical gases experience is a plus and healthcare experience is a plus.
Work hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm. On occasion, hours may flex as projects and emergencies dictate and will be part of the rotating on-call roster.

Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, piping materials, and installation techniques. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for plumbing installations and repairs. Understanding of medical gas systems and infection control protocols in healthcare environments. Ability to troubleshoot and repair leaks, clogs, drainage issues, and fixture malfunctions. Familiarity with local, state, and federal plumbing codes, ensuring regulatory compliance. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to diagnose plumbing issues efficiently. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, responding to emergency calls and prioritizing tasks effectively. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized plumbing equipment.Licenses and Certifications
