Job Description

Join a dynamic team as an apprentice or journeyman plumber for a long-term opportunity. You will work on new construction projects, including six-story walk-ups and institutional developments. Your role will involve working with various materials and systems, including cast iron, copper, and mechanical joints, as well as installing and finishing plumbing fixtures such as faucets and toilets.

ResponsibilitiesWork on new construction projects, including six-story walk-ups and institutional developments.Handle materials such as cast iron, copper, and pipe sizes ranging from 0.5 to 4 inches.Perform rough-ins and mechanical joint installations.Install and finish plumbing fixtures such as faucets and toilets.Potentially work with heating and cooling equipment.Essential SkillsAt least 2 years of experience in institutional/commercial plumbing.Experience in completing rough-in and finishing plumbing tasks.Ability to work in Vancouver and/or UBC.Completion of relevant schooling.Additional Skills & QualificationsRed Seal certification is a plus.Experience working with cast iron is desirable.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Expect to work on sites across the Lower Mainland, mainly in Vancouver, UBC, and South Surrey. Typical working hours are 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with potential for overtime. The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $46.00/hr.
