Purpose of the Role

We’re seeking a qualified Plumber to support maintenance services at one of Australia’s major aviation hubs. In this hands-on role, you’ll contribute to essential facility operations, with a focus on service quality, safety, and teamwork.

Reporting to the Team Leader, you’ll work collaboratively within a close-knit technical team to ensure our plumbing systems are operating smoothly and reliably.

Key Responsibilities

Provide effective maintenance and servicing of plumbing systems (e.g., TMVs, backflow, hot water, and general plumbing) Participate in the repair and replacement of hydraulic infrastructure Liaise respectfully with clients and subcontractors to ensure smooth operations Complete all work efficiently and in line with safety and compliance standards Contribute to an on-call rotation (approximately 1 week per month)

Education, Experience & Skills

Essential:

Certificate III in Plumbing (or equivalent recognised qualification) 1-5 years’ experience in a similar position Current Australian Driver’s Licence (manual) White Card (Construction Induction) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Comfortable using mobile tech for job management (iPad provided)

Desirable:

Previous experience in high-security or critical environments (e.g., airports) TMV and Backflow Prevention accreditation

Work Environment & Schedule

This is an on-site position based at Perth Airport, Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm. One Rostered Day Off (RDO) is offered each month.
