PLC Programmer
Job Title: Automation Technician
Job Description

The Automation Technician will be responsible for developing code for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) that manage control panels. This role involves programming Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) for touchscreens and creating graphics. Additionally, the technician will support job startups in the field by assisting service technicians and providing remote support for field calls.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and write code for PLCs to control panels.Program HMIs for touchscreens and create graphics.Support field jobs during startup and provide technical assistance to service technicians.Offer remote support for field calls involving PLCs and HMIs.Essential SkillsProficiency in PLC programming.Experience in troubleshooting and controls engineering.Knowledge of Rockwell and Allen Bradley PLCs.Familiarity with automation systems and pneumatics.Experience with CompactLogix, MicroLogix, and Wonderware InTouch.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociate's degree in Electrical Engineering.2+ years of experience in PLC programming.2+ years of experience in automation systems.2+ years of experience with Allen Bradley PLCs.2+ years of experience in pneumatics.Work Environment

The position offers the potential to work remotely or in a hybrid setup after 8-12 months of employment, with 1-2 days of remote work per week. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $100000.00/yr.

The company offers 3 weeks of pto to start along with full health/dental and medical benefits.
