In this position...

The Platform Process and Metrics Engineer plays a pivotal role in standardizing and optimizing the operational processes within the platform organization. This role focuses on designing, documenting, and maintaining clear workflows, managing the central knowledge base (e.g., Wiki) for process mapping and metric definitions, and facilitating training to ensure consistent adoption. The Engineer will collaborate closely with the Platform Release Planning team and other stakeholders to drive efficiency, transparency, and continuous improvement across platform operations. 

You'll have...

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field. 

5+ years of experience in process management, operations, knowledge management, or a similar role within a complex technical environment. 

Proven experience in designing, documenting, and implementing operational processes and workflows. 

Proficiency in administering and managing knowledge management systems (e.g., Confluence, Wiki, SharePoint). 

Strong expertise in Jira, including workflow configuration, dashboard creation, and reporting. 

Ability to define, track, and analyze process metrics and KPIs, translating data into actionable insights. 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to create clear, concise documentation and deliver effective training. 

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with keen attention to detail. 

Basic understanding of software and hardware development lifecycles (SDLC, HDLC). 

Even better, you may have...

Experience in the automotive industry, particularly with vehicle electrical architectures or embedded systems. 

Familiarity with release management best practices (e.g., CI/CD, DevOps principles). 

Experience working in an Agile development environment. 

Certifications in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, ITIL). 

Prior experience in change management initiatives. 

Experience with process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).

What you'll do...

Design, document, and maintain standardized processes and workflows for platform development, release planning, and operations within the designated knowledge management system. 

Administer and continuously improve the platform's central knowledge base (e.g., Wiki, Confluence) to serve as the source for process documentation, metric definitions, and best practices. 

Collaborate with platform teams and stakeholders to define, track, and report on key process performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics, providing data-driven insights for continuous improvement. 

Develop and deliver training programs and materials to ensure team members understand and effectively utilize documented processes and tools. 

Proactively identify inefficiencies and opportunities for process optimization, standardization, and automation, leading initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness. 

Leverage and configure Jira and other relevant tools to support process execution, tracking, reporting, and workflow automation for platform processes.
