P&C IT Services provides professional services to help our business units and corporate functions use technology to create, manage, and optimize information and business processes.  IT Services can include a wide range of activities such as: software development, data management, Cloud services, IT security, network security, technical support, establishing and overseeing access rights, procuring and maintaining equipment or software, managing the infrastructure, and defining security procedures,  The overall goal of IT Services is to provide technology solutions that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and give our company a competitive advantage over our competitors.

The COTS team within P&C IT Services is seeking a Platform Onboarding Engineer to work a hybrid schedule out of the Cincinnati office.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

Collaborates with cross-functional teams to design and implement integration solutions that enhance data flow and system interoperability.Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvements and implements solutions that enhance overall system performance.Manage onboarding processes for new SaaS applications.Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, process workflows, user guides, ServiceNow artifacts, and system specifications.Utilize strong analytical techniques to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues efficiently.Deliver outstanding customer service by engaging with internal customers to understand their requirements and provide dependable technical support and solutions. Clearly present technical solutions and proposals to the architecture review board, thoughtfully addressing concerns and incorporating feedback as needed. Potentially serve as Scrum Master facilitating effective teamwork and coaching, while assisting stakeholders in navigating team interactions.Designs, programs, builds, and deploys software applications and systems that support various business and insurance processes.Drives the implementation of new features and functionalities based on business requirements, enhancing the overall user experience. Ensures seamless integration of new applications with existing systems, minimizing disruptions to business operations.Supports software testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding software enhancements Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Excellent communication abilities, encompassing verbal, written, and active listening skills, with the capacity to engage effectively with individual contributors, organizational leaders, and offshore team members. Proficient in conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Demonstrated capability to support multiple products and domains simultaneously. Effective at managing multiple tasks and priorities. In-depth knowledge of technology infrastructure, including servers, operating systems, cloud platforms, and security methodologies. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
