MAU is hiring a Platform Manager in Beech Island, SC. As a Platform Manager, you will lead and manage MAU operations teams to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and talent development goals in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Benefits Package Competitive Compensation Package Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits Paid Holidays (11) Paid Vacation Great work environment Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Care Partners Program Health Club Reimbursement Program Additional supplemental benefit programs 401k Salary Continuation Educational Reimbursement FMLA available after 12 months of service Shift Information Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM Occasional nights and weekends as needed Career Path Platform Manager IV Site Manager General Manager Director Corporate Support Functions Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years of applicable leadership experience 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment Proven experience managing a team of 3+ direct reports and 50+ hourly employees Preferred Education and Experience Lean Greenbelt certification Training in root cause analysis Experience with SAP, WMS, and inventory management systems General Requirements On-call availability 24/7 for safety, injury, and personnel incidents Commitment to ethical conduct and personal effectiveness Ability to identify and correct workplace hazards Essential Functions Manage MAU staff across multiple shifts and asset groups Act as subject matter expert in material flow and continuous improvement Ensure SQDC standards in tissue and converting operations Ensure legal and regulatory compliance Oversee critical raw material processes Lead and mentor full-time MAU employees and supervisors Develop and monitor performance evaluation processes (PDAs/KPIs) Facilitate training, coaching, and conflict resolution Drive platform profitability and safety-first operations Lead cost-control initiatives and continuous improvement projects Deliver excellent customer service and simple problem-solving Serve on MAU Leadership and Safety Committees Represent MAU in daily customer meetings Support business development and client expansion Manage labor standards and purchase orders Work Environment and Physical Demands Work in both administrative and manufacturing/warehouse settings Exposure to non-climate-controlled environments or GMP clean rooms Operation near industrial equipment and power vehicles Physical Requirements Walk up to 8 miles per day Lift up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation Travel Occasional travel (under 25 miles per month) for off-site training or team building
