Job Description:At Regions, the Platform Investment Consultant is responsible for educating our licensed bankers to best meet our customer's needs. This position is responsible for the implementation of selection, licensing, and initial training as well as the ongoing training and support of the licensed bankers in selling fixed annuities and life insurance.
Primary Responsibilities
Executes on the strategies set by the Area Investment Executive (AIE) in conjunction with the Consumer Banking Executive (CBE) for the marketWorks closely with the AIE on opportunities to partner with Financial Advisors (FA)Coaches licensed bankers around opportunities to refer to the (FA)Fosters a productive sales environment and enforce routines that will optimize opportunities to deliver the Regions 360 approachWorks with bankers during licensing process to ensure timely testingManages and delivers new licensed banker training and developmental trainingSchedules and conducts ongoing product training within designated marketsManages licensed banker compliance with continuing education (CE) expectationsMonitors and facilitates licensed banker staffing levels and staff allocation across the footprint and execute on identified goals for the branch and licensed bankersPartners with the AIE and FAs, executing on strategies related to prospect call effortsThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
