This position is based in Bengaluru and will require some on-site work. **Purpose and Scope:** As an Adobe AEM FED Platform Engineer in Adobe Platforms chapter, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our digital initiatives within our agile organization by designing and delivering innovative, enterprise-grade external facing websites/ portals based on Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Analytics technologies. This role exists to focus on front end user experience, design, develop and maintain websites built on Adobe AEM CMS enabling seamless content delivery and engagement of HCPs and Patients to Astellas owned web properties collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders both internal and external driving business value through technical expertise and stakeholder engagement aligned to enterprise capabilities. In this role, you will lead global design framework UI, design and maintain web applications based on a Global design standard, leveraging Templates and Components with a deep understanding of AEM Front end framework, backend, Analytics, Target to elevate customer experience. You will work directly with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable Adobe AEM solutions, multitask across projects and stay ahead of technological advancements, making this position critical for transformative digital impact for the enterprise. You will be at the forefront of implementing innovative solutions and will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies in your field. **Essential Job Responsibilities:** + Hands on AEM Front end development experience in leading front end design frameworks. Develop, test, and implement OOB, custom components, templates on Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to support various digital initiatives. + Translate user stories into technical designs which includes enterprise-level architecture and implementing strategies. + Experience in software design, development, and implementation using standard CMS platforms. + Collaborate with Business Analyst, Platform Engineers, Scrum lead, Value Team captain to execute implementations and provide technical guidance. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional digital experiences, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and usability. + Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Regularly monitor web site performance using Lighthouse or similar tools. + Security & Compliance: Ensure web solutions are secure and compliant with enterprise standards, including web governance and necessary documentation. + Data Reporting: Work with reporting team (generating insights from Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics) to derive meaningful insights. + Continuous Learning: Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in a specific area of expertise. + Innovation: Contribute innovative ideas and approaches to enhance project outcomes and digital capabilities. + Reporting: Regularly report on system use to your Chapter Lead, VT captain, and team members. + Problem-Solving: Employ analytical and problem-solving skills to overcome project challenges and deliver effective solutions. + Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest quality and consistency in the work delivered. + Advanced problem-solving capabilities to troubleshoot and resolve issues across Adobe platforms. + Exceptional team skills, with the ability to work effectively with development teams, business users, vendors, and external agencies. + Adaptable to evolving project scopes and technologies, with a commitment to continuous learning in Adobe domain. + Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for security, scalability, and reliability. **Qualifications Required:** + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field, e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Business Administration. + Strong hands-on experience on AEM - front end development experience 10+ years in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and leading a AEM FED and fullstack developers. + User Experience and design in AEM website projects. Experience with solution design /architecture and establishing best practices in creating responsive and visually appealing web interfaces. + Experience in design thinking, User experience, global Accessibility standards and compliance requirements for web and other digital channel solutions + Review code of AEM FED developers, develop POCs, and provide guidance. + Hands on experience on AEM components, Templates and other building blocks of front-end development + Work within an Agile Delivery Team, contributing to design, development, administration, and troubleshooting in AEM front end components. + Hands on experience with responsive design principles to ensure optimal user experiences across various devices. + Hands on experience with web accessibility standards (WCAG) to create inclusive digital experiences. + Hands on experience to Optimize front-end code for better performance and faster page load times. + Experience with build tools to streamline front-end workflows. + Experience in developing strategies to design solution across different browsers and devices. Serve as an AEM FED subject matter expert, diagnose and solve technical challenges related to user experience design on AEM. + Experience with multiple front-end frameworks for AEM FED development + Understanding of AEM integration with Adobe Analytics and Launch configurations. + Relevant experience in business analysis, technical analysis, or a related area, demonstrating a track record of bridging business needs with technical solutions. + Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand complex business issues and develop appropriate technical solutions. + Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of information technology, software development life cycles, and architectural frameworks. Familiarity with programming languages, databases, and software development tools is beneficial. + Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and vice versa. + Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies, including Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and version control in Adobe platform deployments. + Attention to Detail: Precision in documenting requirements, specifications, and project details to ensure clarity and alignment with objectives. + Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements, technologies, and project priorities.
