We have an exciting opportunity for a Plater to join our Submarines business. Primary Components Operational Business Unit is part of the Rolls Royce Submarine Business. Primary Components is responsible for the manufacture and delivery of the Nuclear Steam Raising Plant.

What you will be doing:
With this exciting opportunity you will get a chance to be involved with the following:
Manufacture of high integrity components of varying sizes to tight engineering tolerances.
Use of all hand tools, torque wrenches and measuring equipment, use of overhead cranes and manipulation equipment.
Interpretation of manufacturing drawings, customer drawings and written specifications.
A willingness to learn new skills and processes, undertaking training where necessary.
Experience of large vessel manufacture in both ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
Awareness of HS&E requirements.

Understand and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.

To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines, you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don’t currently already have this in place. Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets, you must hold a UK nationality. Any dual nationals will require additional scrutiny and background checks prior to commencing work with RRSL.
