Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we’re looking to add a Plastics Engineering Intern located in our Buffalo Grove, IL site.

Reporting to Operations Engineering, the Intern will assist with daily engineering tasks while learning, collaborating and working alongside Engineers and cross-functional teams.

What a typical day looks like:

Assist Engineering Team with dryer validation plan, silo validation, spare parts, and preventive maintenance and calibrationCollaborate with Engineering Team with writing reports and reporting findings to teamLearn new processes and evaluate resultsAttend team meetings and support project work as needed

Student qualities we’re seeking for this internship assignment:

Junior/Senior student pursuing Mechanical/Industrial Engineering majorUnderstanding of an Injection Molding ProcessCAD tools (Solidworks, AutoCAD) experienceLean/Six Sigma helpfulProficient with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Enthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environmentHighly collaborative, creative and excellent communication skillsPrevious internship experience a plus!

Internship Program Requirements:

Ability to start on June 2nd and work 10-12 week Summer assignment (in-person); 40 hours/weekCurrently enrolled in 4-year accredited university3.0 GPAPay Range (Applicable to Illinois)$15.93 USD - $21.90 USD Hourly
