**Job Description:**
**Plastic Surgery** **Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA)**
**Lahey Hospital and Medical Center**
Join our Plastic Surgery team as a skilled Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to work independently and collaboratively with plastic surgeons and other healthcare professionals. You'll provide crucial pre- and post-operative care, manage clinic flow, handle inpatient needs, and oversee wound care to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
**What You'll Do:**
+ Pre & post-op assessments for cosmetic & reconstructive surgery patients.
+ Participate in consultations & treatment planning; educate patients.
+ Support surgical planning & coordinate pre-surgery steps.
+ Manage post-surgical complications with surgeons.
+ Document care in Epic EMR.
+ Coordinate care with other specialties (oncology, dermatology, etc.).
+ Educate patients/families on procedures, post-op & wound care, scar management.
+ Inpatient evaluation & management of complex wounds.
+ Participate in quality improvement, research (as applicable).
**Qualifications:**
+ Current licensure as an APP in Massachusetts
+ MA Prescriptive Authority (controlled substances) & DEA registration.
+ 2+ years APP experience preferred; surgical, wound care, or plastic surgery experience a plus.
+ Excellent communication, critical thinking, time management, & interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to work independently & collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
