Description

This role supports the development of new gene edited plants through tissue culture, growth chambers and greenhouses.

Responsibilities include:

•\tPerforming growth chamber and greenhouse plant duties

•\tPerform tissue culture

•\tConduct plant crossing protocols and support breeding development activities

•\tData collection/data entry for regulatory purposes

Qualifications:

•\tBachelors degree in science (plant breeding, botany, plant sciences is ideal but not required)

•\tStrong attention to detail (confirmed by references)

•\tPassion for the industry (confirmed in a personal statement/bullet point)

•\tStrong knowledge of SOPs

•\tReferences speaking to being \"honest, creative and hardworking\"

Nice to have qualifications:

•\tPrevious experience developing or troubleshooting SOPs

•\tExperience with plant breeding

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
